I shiver under my skin by your touch
Your gentle voice echoes in my thoughts.
That beautiful smile etched across the calmness of your face
Those dancing eyes of passion string an accordion of stories.
They speak of dreams, amor, desires, goals
and ambition beyond the sky’s limits.

I tingle as you whisper softly in my ear
You lay next to me stroking my hair
A poetry of reassurance, kindness, love fills the air
as reverie quietly seeps through my mind
Then comes those cheeky gestures, teasing smile and nasty lil’ pinches
That made me giggle uncontrollably like a little school-girl tickled in love

It was tender, beautiful and only for a brief moment
But it was sweet while it lasted
It was a magical reel played-back in mono
With sonorous melody ever so breathtaking
It exalted us to heights of ecstasy
And cradled us to flights of dreams.

Follow your heart, your dreams, your passions my love
I can’t help but to be immensely proud of you
You stand tall with big aspirations in life
Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Bon Apetit Merci Beaucoup were the words you used to say to me
But now it is Bon Voyage I will soon have to bid thee
as we reach this expected crossroad
While you embark on another one of life’s journey
Listen closely to your inner voice wherever you go
And stay true to your heart in whatever you do.

We cannot control what the future holds for us
In times of impermanence
Nor can we promise each other sweet nothings
In parting divergent paths
But one thing will never change my dearest
And this I can assure you
Our ethereal memories will remain beautiful forever
For they were indeed- sweet while it lasted.

Angie Sweetie

She sat there all alone. Lost. Overwhelmed by the scene unfolding before her eyes, she meekly smiled at unfamiliar faces.

A tap on the shoulder, a lovely smile, a warm handshake extended graciously to her.

“Hi, I’m Angie.” (smiles profusely, perhaps intrigued by her sense of dressing. Everyone else was garbed smartly in black and white for the first photoshoot. Everyone, but her.)

The beginning of a beautiful friendship.

That brought You, Rache, Mich and I together.

Comforted by each other’s presence.

Finding each other time and time again.

Solace and strength.
